CONCESSION SIGNUP (Updated for FALL 2024):
Wednesday, August 21 from 9am-11:59PM -- Signup begins! Maximum of ONE slot per club. If you sign up for a slot that pays over $400, please wait until Friday, August 23 to sign up for any additional slots.
Thursday, August 22 from 9am-11:59PM -- Clubs may sign up for ONE additional slot. Maximum of TWO total slots per club. (Clubs that signed up for a slot paying over $400 need to wait until Friday, August 23 to sign up for a second slot.)
Friday, August 23 at 9am -- OPEN SIGNUP -- all remaining slots are OPEN to ALL CLUBS.
CONCESSIONS HOW TO: ‘The Short List’
- Attend Training! Each group working Concessions is required to attend training once per school year. There should be one trained representative from your group on-site each time your group works. There will not be anyone available to train volunteers on the spot.
- Make sure that your group has completed the Club Contact & Payee Form for the current school year. This should have been done when signing up, but if not see link below. You can’t get paid until this is done!
- Have two volunteers download the 'Square Point of Sale' app prior to reaching out to your Cash Box Contact.
- Reach out to your Cash Box Contact 2-3 days prior to your shift to arrange a time to meet. Specific Cash Box Contacts are listed for each shift event in the Signup and Contact information for each is listed below. Your Cash Box Contact will be the one a) giving you the keys to the concession stand, b) the cash box AND c) can help you get logged in to the Square App (there is a time sensitive 2-step verification process.)
- Remind your volunteers of arrival time, location, stand instructions, etc.
- Follow OPENING and CLOSING CHECKLISTS. These lists are available to review on the PTO Website and are also posted in each Concession Stand.
- When in doubt, check the PTO website under 'Concessions' HERE! Encourage volunteers to review and get comfortable before arriving, but there is a QR code posted in the stand for on site access too (provided the WiFi is working!)

2024-25 CONCESSIONS TRAINING
Every group planning to work Concessions needs to attend a training once each school year. There must be at least one trained representative from your group present every time your group works Concessions. It does not have to be the club president or even the same person every time. Send a few people to the training so that you have coverage!
If your group is new to Concessions and would like some on-the-job training in addition to the training meeting, please reach out to one of our PTO Contacts listed below. We can try to set you up to help/observe a more experienced group who may be scheduled to work.
Fall Concessions Training(tentative): Monday, August 26th @ 9am and 6:30pm BVSW Outdoor Concession Stand
Winter Concessions Training: TBD

GETTING PAID
In order to be paid, participating groups must complete the following form at least one time during the 2024-25 school year. If you work and get paid during the Fall Season, you DO NOT need to do this again!
